I came inside to get the drill and diamond bit for doing the teacups and rain chain. I also wanted to get the jig saw to cut the intarsia. I think using a band saw would be better, though. It would take much less time to cut it all out! That is for sure ( Read more... )

I plugged in the soldering iron on one of my trips past the stained glass, then after awhile, I stopped and soldered my copper foiled butterfly pieces together. There. Now that's done.

I love having my projects out where I can stop and work on them for a minute as I go past. That way, over time, I accomplish things I want to accomplish!

I put the wet clay out on the plaster slabs and uncoverd the container of white clay. It's lovely. A huge 24 gallon plastic container of Joanne's trimmings ( Read more... )

I worked on some stained glass. I cut out three more pink wings, then ground them down on the grinder, washed them, foiled them and set them up together so I can solder them. I'm using a phone book for the soldering spot, so I can wreck the front of that and toss it out if necessary ( Read more... )
